The following offices will become vacant due to the expiration of the present term of office of the elective officer:

Ward 1- 2 year term

Ward 2- 2 year term

(currently held by Matthew Swartwout)

Ward 3- 2 year term

(currently held by LeRoy Koopman)

Circulation of nominating petitions may begin on January 27, 2012 and petitions may be filed in the office

of the Finance Officer located at 309 E 4th St, Colton between the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm,

Central Standard time no later than the 24th day of February, 2012.
